Who We Are
Empowering youth. Strengthening communities.
Vijana Nguvu Kazi is a youth-focused organization based in Kizimkazi, South District, South Region of Unguja, Zanzibar.
Vijana Nguvu Kazi was established to empower young people and create meaningful opportunities for them to participate in social, economic and community development.
The organization recognizes young people as an important force in the development of Tanzania. By creating platforms for participation, skills development, sports, entrepreneurship, education and community service, Vijana Nguvu Kazi aims to help young people become active contributors to their communities.
Our Beginning
The organization was officially launched on 31 August 2023 by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Working Together
Partnerships that turn shared goals into lasting progress.
Our programs and initiatives focus on several important areas including education, health, environmental conservation, sports development, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and the creation of sustainable opportunities.
We also work to strengthen cooperation between young people, communities, government institutions, private organizations and development partners.
Through these partnerships, Vijana Nguvu Kazi seeks to create initiatives that provide both immediate community benefits and long-term opportunities for future generations.
