Volunteer With Us

Volunteers play an important role in supporting the successful organization of the Kizimkazi Marathon. Volunteer opportunities may include participant support, registration assistance, route support, hydration points, information services, community activities, event operations and other areas identified by the organizing team. Volunteering provides an opportunity for young people and community members to gain practical experience, contribute to a major community initiative, work with others and participate in preparations connected with the wider sports, youth empowerment and community development opportunity. Volunteer roles, eligibility requirements, reporting arrangements and application procedures will be communicated through the official event platform. Applicants should provide accurate information and be available for any briefing, training or assignment requirements associated with their selected role. The organizing team may allocate volunteer roles according to operational needs, available positions and the suitability of applicants.
